Established in 1987, Community Literacy Centers, Inc. (CLC) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to teaching adults to read. Since its inception, CLC has helped over 30,000 individuals.

Literacy Live 2012
Last year, with the support of many partners, Community Literacy Center’s fundraising luncheon, Literacy Live helped to combat the critical need in our community to teach 400,000 Oklahoma adults to read and become self-sufficient. With your support, we continue our fight each day.
Tutor Training
Have you wondered how to get involved? Have you wondered how you could help to pass on the incredible gift of literacy? Would you prefer to help in a classroom? We are having a training for you!
Training classes will be held Mondays, January 9th and January 23rd, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Classes will be held at our main center, 3707 S. Blackwelder Avenue.
