Press Release - Community Literacy Centers Presents Fabulous Auction Items at Upcoming Fundraiser

OKLAHOMA CITY - This year, Community Literacy Centers, Inc. (CLC) is featuring some notable auction items at its annual fundraiser, Private Reserve - Wine and Dine for Literacy, to benefit Oklahoma City area adults who cannot read.

Over the past 15 years, with the help of local patrons and sponsors, Private Reserve has raised over $1 million to fund literacy programs and provide services to over 27,000 people at CLC. 

In addition to the auction, the evening includes a wine tasting with eight vintners, fine dining, and entertainment. Presenting sponsors for Private Reserve are Bank of Oklahoma and Chesapeake Energy Corporation.

A benefit auction will feature both live and silent-auction items. Highlights of both auctions include:

  • Romantic mountain getaway in Napa Valley
  • One week vacation in a luxurious Hawaii home and a trip to the mountains of Colorado
  • Retreat to Carmel, Calif. for golfing, a wine tasting at Joullian Vineyards, and dinner in a splendid eatery
  • Murder mystery dinner for eight people in the home of Patti Mellow
  • Scotch tasting party for 20 people
